We are a global expeditions agency guiding curated groups to observe the planet’s most remarkable marine migrations through responsible, conservation-focused travel.

WHO WE ARE

We are a community of ocean explorers, traveling the world to follow the great marine migrations. We do this because we believe that witnessing these moments creates a deeper connection with the ocean and a stronger desire to protect it.

Our expeditions take us to five key destinations: Baja California, Tonga, the Azores, South Africa and Yonaguni, each chosen for its unique marine encounters and seasonal migrations.

We welcome both snorkelers and divers on our expeditions. The required experience depends on the destination and the type of adventure, but all our journeys are guided by curiosity, respect and responsible ocean practices.

Every expedition is a journey back to the ocean’s origin — and a commitment to its future.
In partnership with NAR (Natural Art Reef Association), we install biotopes: innovative artificial reefs that restore marine life and accelerate coral growth.

We don’t have a single “home base” because Mind the Seas was created to explore the world. Our expeditions take place across different oceans, our team comes from many countries, and our travellers are just as international. In that sense, we’re based wherever the next migration takes us.
Since our groups are usually multicultural, we use English as our common language. Don’t worry if it’s not your first language—our guides speak clearly, we keep communication simple, and the atmosphere is always friendly and inclusive.
Yes, definitely. Some of our expeditions—like the May journeys in Baja California Sur—are ocean safaris, which means they are 100% snorkeling. You don’t need any scuba certification to enjoy them.
Of course. Many travellers choose to learn or improve their skills while exploring a new destination. Our team includes certified dive instructors, so we can arrange any course you’d like to add to your trip.
Booking is simple. To secure your spot, you just need to pay a deposit. The remaining balance can be paid in comfortable installments. By clicking “Book Now” on any expedition, you’ll see the full payment plan and you can pay easily with your card in more than 30 currencies.
Absolutely—and you wouldn’t be the only one. About 90% of our explorers travel solo. You arrive by yourself, but you end up sharing the experience with new friends from all over the world who love the ocean just as much as you do.
