We return to Baja California Sur up to four times a year because it is a destination shaped by clearly defined natural cycles. Seasonal migrations, shifting currents, and changes in ocean productivity create very specific windows when the sea reveals its true character.
At Mind the Seas, we don’t follow tourism calendars — we follow the ocean. Returning multiple times each year allows us to work with these cycles, choose the right moment, and offer explorations that are grounded in understanding, not repetition.
The 8-day experience in Baja California is one of the most incredible things I’ve ever lived in nature. The entire organization was impeccable, and the treatment was excellent from the very first contact and the moment of booking. Victoria has clear and extensive experience in the region we visited, and both her personal warmth and her professionalism are evident in every part of the expedition. Her passion for what she does and her knowledge of the protected areas were truly inspiring.

Without a doubt, one of the best trips of my life. Victoria—who spent three years living in Baja California Sur, Mexico, and knows the sea like the back of her hand—put together a group in which every single member was super inspiring. Everyone was a sea lover, full of passion and enthusiasm. On top of that, we were able to be in the water with all kinds of wildlife, like orcas—we had the incredible chance to encounter them three times—dozens of sea lions, hundreds of mobulas, humpback whales, blue whales… the list goes on.

Back from the trip to Baja California with MTS, I can honestly say Victoria and the whole team are tireless professionals who took wonderful care of us and mindfully guided us to incredible encounters with top predators. I’ll be back, and I recommend it 100% if you’re looking for an unforgettable snorkeling and diving trip.
